Ein breiter Goldring mit erstaunlich leichter Wirkung. Blüten, Blätter und offene Partien ziehen sich wie ein kleines ornamentales Band um den Finger, unterbrochen vom zurückhaltenden Funkeln der Diamantrosen.
Stil & Epoche
Die naturalistische Ornamentik mit Blüten- und Blattmotiven, die geschwungenen Linien und die durchbrochene Gestaltung passen sehr gut in das Umfeld des Jugendstils. Eine Datierung um 1890 bis etwa 1915 erscheint stilistisch plausibel. Die Konstruktion erinnert an leichte, materialökonomische Goldarbeiten, wie sie bei Schaumgold vorkommen können; anhand der Fotografien allein lässt sich eine Schaumgoldkonstruktion jedoch nicht sicher bestätigen.
Materialien & Edelsteine
Gefertigt aus 585er Gelbgold und besetzt mit insgesamt 11 Diamantrosen. Die flachen, historischen Schliffe setzen kleine Lichtpunkte in die ornamentale Oberfläche, ohne die Goldarbeit zu dominieren.
Zustand & Aufarbeitung
Das Stück wird fachkundig auf Material, Fassung und Stabilität geprüft und behutsam aufbereitet. Bei einem antiken Ring dieser Art dürfen feine altersbedingte Spuren sichtbar bleiben, sofern sie die Tragbarkeit nicht beeinträchtigen.
Tragegefühl & Kombination
Trotz der Breite wirkt der Ring durch die Durchbrucharbeit nicht massiv. Er eignet sich besonders gut als einzelner Bandring, weil die umlaufende Ornamentik aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln immer neue Details zeigt.

Besonderheiten & Geschichte
Die eigentliche Besonderheit liegt weniger in einem einzelnen Stein als in der Goldschmiedearbeit selbst. Ornament, Durchbruch und Diamantrosen bilden eine zusammenhängende historische Gestaltung, die heute nur selten in dieser Form gefertigt wird.
