Ein Solitärring mit Geschichte
Dieser antike Diamantring stammt aus der Zeit um die Jahrhundertwende und besticht durch seine ruhige Eleganz. Im Mittelpunkt steht ein einzelner Diamant im Altschliff, getragen von einer fein gearbeiteten Fassung, die den Stein schützend und zugleich präsent hält.
Material & Diamant
Der Ring ist aus 14 Karat Gold (585) gefertigt und zeigt einen warmen, leicht roséfarbenen Goldton, wie er für Schmuck um 1900 typisch ist. Der Diamant besitzt ein Gewicht von ca. 0,13 Karat und ist im klassischen Altschliff geschliffen, der für sein sanftes, lebendiges Funkeln bekannt ist.
Fassung & handwerkliche Details
Der Diamant ist in einer offenen Kelch- bzw. Krappenfassung gefasst. Die seitlich durchbrochene Galerie verleiht dem Ring Leichtigkeit und erlaubt dem Licht, von allen Seiten auf den Stein zu fallen. Diese Fassungsart war besonders im späten 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhundert verbreitet.
